Adult Sunday School Classes

We have various classes of Christian Education for every age and stage at First Church. Our classes study the Bible and Spiritual Life topics and they meet every Sunday from 9:50 - 10:45 AM.

The Men's and Ladies Bible Class - Meets in the Chapel. This class is broadcast live on WNNC, 1230 am at 10:00 AM each Sunday. It is the longest continuous Christian Sunday School Broadcast in the world. The members are a faithful and mission minded group of dedicated men and women. This class studies the Bible weekly and has an all-star cadre of teachers. You are invited to attend this class in person.

The Parker Class - Meets in the Gomedela Room and are adults from 45 up who love a great Sunday School Lesson, fellowship, a cup of coffee and occasional fresh pastries.

Joe Love Class - Meets on the Sanctuary Level and are adults from 45 up who are active in local missions, regular evening outings for food and relaxation and dedicated Bible Study.

Faith Builders Class - Meets below the Sanctuary and are adults from 40 - 60 who love discussion, Bible Study, current issues and an occasional video lesson.

Faith and Fellowship Class - Meets in the Fellowship Hall  and are adults from 30 - 50 who are young families or young singles who love discussion, fellowship outings, and Bible related topics.

New Life Class - Meets below the Sanctuary and includes adults age 20-45. The class focuses on "actively listening to God's voice", discipleship and occasional family outings.
