Music Ministry

The Chancel Choir are singers who love the Lord, one another and music. These wonderful singers share their gift each Sunday at 11 AM and at other seasonal times. Rehearsals are on Wednesdays at 7:30 PM 

Praise Team: "For His Glory" is our praise band. Rehearsals are on Wednesday evening at 6:00 PM. They sing and play particularly for our 9:00AM Sunday Praise service each week in our fellowship hall which has an entrance off Ashe Ave. They have also provided Praise and Worship at various Youth Retreats and Revivals around the Western North Carolina Conference of the United Methodist Church. 

Three Days Down: is our newly formed Youth Praise Band. This band consists of all middle school youth who are learning their instruments as they praise our Lord.  We rehearse Monday nights from 7-8 PM and we lead worship at the XPraise Service on occasion.

The Adult Handbell Choir rehearsals are on Wednesday evenings at 6:30PM and the choir performs during our worship services at various times throughout the year.

The Cherub Choir is for young children (kindergarten - 1st grade grade) who rehearse on Wednesday afternoons and sing at seasonal events, special Sundays.

The Children's Choir is for children 2nd grade through 5th grade. We practice as apart of our Kid's For Christ progam on Wednesday afternoons. We perform at seasonal events and special church services.

The Children's Handbell Choir is a group of young children (Elementary aged) who love to make melodies with brass and clappers. They rehearse on Wednesday afternoon at 5:00 PM.

We have started a new and exciting ministry in Liturgical Dance. This is for any young person ages 2nd grade and up, and mostly attracts girls.  The younger girls meet during our Kid's For Christ program and the older girls practice during youth on Sundays.  We pull it all together for a performance that is sure to touch your heart.
